Mangosteen was discovered chained to a small rusting wheel barrow, the only thing sheltering him from the harsh rains and sweltering sun. He was without food and water.
He was covered in sores, Tumbu fly (Mango Fly) maggots and extremely emaciated so much so he could barely stand.
Our team has taken him in for treatment and he is on his way to recovery.
After he fully recovers our hope is that he will be locally re-homed.
