Larry was rescued from a neglectful home after the Cuban animal charity, CEDA, sent a call out for members of the public to foster him. The neighbour of his owner had reported the case due to his emaciated condition and a very bad case of fleas. The neighbour already had 12 rescue dogs of her own and didn’t feel that she had the ability to take on more, given that she was supporting them on her Cuban salary of just USD $15 a month. CPI’s, Sarah Morris, arranged veterinary treatment for Larry and placed him in a temporary foster home. He now has a loving owner with a large, fenced garden.
