Compassionate Paws, Inc. services and process is custom created for each family and it may include:
- A contracted Replacement Guarantee on the life of the service dog.
- Assistance and/or support with ALL fundraising events. 100% of all proceeds raised at all fundraising events supports the placement of a service dog, and NOT our administrative costs.
- Formation and execution of a training program designed specifically for your needs.
- Discussion and inclusion of any member within the home in all aspects of placement.
- Handler training to include all the lessons that the training dog is receiving. This will also include public access laws and manners.
- Discussion of more advanced necessary specialized training.
- Ongoing and unlimited LIFELONG email and telephone support, access to resources.
- Support through the Department of Justice should an issue arise with public access denial.
- Annual re-certification ensuring the safety and comfort of the handler/dog team and general public.
- Participation/support in treatment team meetings (IEP's, therapy appointments, etc.), if requested.
Short-term Life, Medical, and Liability Insurance Policy at no cost to the applicant for your trained service dog.
The following expenses are covered by Compassionate Paws for clients enrolled in our Platinum Package:
- Execution of Phase One of our Fundraising program.
- Medical expenses during the time that the training dog is in the care of Compassionate Paws, Inc. (including spay/neuter, puppy shots, heart worm and flea & tick control products).
- Food during the timeframe that the dog is placed with Compassionate Paws, Inc.
- Filing of the necessary application paperwork.
- All basic obedience training completed by our Director of Training and her staff.
- All training provided to the handler upon permanent placement with the applicant.
- Annual re-certification of the handler/dog team.
- All necessary equipment to provide the proper training including the vest for your dog to wear when they achieve public access certification.
- All on-going telephone and e-mail consultations during the life of your dog.
- Training support to help enrich the placement.
