Preston is 12 years old. He has severe Autism, is Bio-Polar and has Epilepsy. When Preston gets out of control he becomes very violent and physically aggressive to parents and other adults. Preston is big dog lover and would never hurt his companion dog. The dog could circle him or put his paw on him and help Preston stop and give him the extra time to think before acting out.
Having a loving companion wherever he goes, will help him to socialize with other children and reduce his anxiety. A companion dog would also offer him security, because when he gets upset he likes to just take off. A service dog could assist him in dangerous situations.
Preston has a hard time taking any medicines, including sleep medicine. Preston has always had trouble with not get proper rest. A dog would give him a way to relax, help him sleep and calm down without need for any extra medicine.
